DSUG Event
One of the biggest choices that college students face is deciding a major. As part of an intro to events class through the hospitality program at Grand Valley, we put on an event for "Degree Seeking Undergraduate" students. We introduced these students to the College of Community and Public Service, or CCPS. Within the college are programs offered such as Criminal Justice, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Legal Studies, Nonprofit, Public, and Health Administration, and Social Work.
With the help from the Dean of the College of Community and Public Service, faculty and staff from each program, and the Advising Center, the students were given the opportunity to explore their options, ask questions, and take their future into their own hands!
