Theme
Our theme incorporated two different themes for one event. "The Game of Life" and "Your Time to Choose"
Colors
There were two different color schemes used throughout our event. "Your Time to Choose" had colors of Laker blue, Jet black, and Snow white. These colors were shown in our walk way, our colored tiles, and our car photo booth. "The Game of Life" had a rainbow colored palette. These vibrant colors were seen on our life sized food table spinner, as well as in our table cloths. Each table represented a "pay day" spot, which also corresponded with the theme.
Activities
At registration of our event, you are given a car with a set of rules on the back of how to play the game. During our event, students followed the trail of colored tiles to help explore new majors, similar to the real Game of Life. These "pay day" tables earn you "people" for your car. Four people in your car could win you one of the many grand prizes. There are also crossroads and arrows that allow you to choose where you'd like to go next. Towards the end of your journey, there's a car shaped photo booth that you and your friends can take part of! Signs telling where your future is headed are also included!
Prizes
Coming to our event, you were walking out with a prize, big or small! We were able to make up goodie bags full of everything from pens, coupons, ice scrapers for your car, hats, drawstring bags and more! Just for coming to our event, everyone received one of these bags. For our big raffle prizes we were giving away gift cards, a Buffalo Wild Wings sauce pack, The Drive basketball tickets and Grand Rapids Griffins hockey tickets! All of our prizes were completely donated to our event from various companies and organizations.
