To market for our event, we used multiple different approaches. Our print media consisted of large banners, fliers, and small "pluggers". All of which looked like the image shown to the bottom right.
Our social media tactics consisted of Facebook and Twitter. Individually, we also reached out to our own networks by posting on other platforms such as Snapchat and Instagram.
Other forms of advertising were more personal. We promoted our event during Grand Valley's major fair and spread the message via chalk all around campus, especially throughout freshman housing.
The most important form of contact that we were able to work with was sending an email to all undecided students. This is how majority of students who attended our event had heard about it.
